Summer Camps for T55!

Please note that only camps in green are still open for registration. The cost of each reservation is $207.50 unless otherwise noted.

1. El Rancho Cima (Texas): June 22-28; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $400-450 total cost. Please sign up by March 15.
2. Galveston Sea Base:June 30-July 5: Sailing (finished 8th grade and 13 by first day of camp scouts eligible) - Approx. - $675 total cost. Please sign up by March 9.
3. Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve (West Virginia): July 13-18: Climbing, Rafting, Kayaking, Zip Lines (Age 13 by 9/1/14 scouts eligible) - Approx. - $1,100 total cost. Please sign up by March 9.
4. Closed to New RegistrationsCamp Jeffrey (Colorado): July 20-26: Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. - $850 total cost. Please sign up by February 23.
5. At Capacity! Further registrations will be put on a waitlist.  Camp Elkhorn High Adventure (Colorado): July 20-26: Backpacking (Age 13 by 9/1/14 scouts eligible) - Approx. - $850 total cost. Please sign up by February 23.

7. Texas Backpacking Adventure: June 11-15 - (Finished 6th grade scouts eligible) - Approx. $150 total cost ($107.50 deposit) . Please sign up by March 9.
8. Texas Coastal Flyfishing: June 8-14 - (Finished 6th grade scouts eligible) - Approx. $750 total cost ($307.50 deposit required). Please sign up by March 9.
9. (Cancelled!) Salmon River Rafting/Fishing: 9 days in July/August - (Finished 9th grade scouts eligible; swimming merit badge required) - Approx. $2,200 total cost. Please sign up by January 15. Please contact Vernon Jones vtjj@vernonjones.com for more details
10. Texas Canoeing: July 8-11 – Please contact Janice Van Dyke Walden at janice@vandykewalden.com to reserve your spot-only 8 scouts will get to go on this spectacular trip. The trip will run 3 days from San Marcos down the cool, spring-def San Marcos River. Scouts aged 13 by September, 2014 are welcome to join. The will be $80 per head-$87.5 deposit and fee required. Please sign up by March 11.

If you are going somewhere else, read below!

1. NAYLE: Various Philmont sessions in June and July at Philmont and other sessions at Northern Tier and Seabase. You will be responsible for $385 cost plus your own transportation, subject to the Troop leadership training fee reimbursement policy.  The Troop strongly supports leadership training by its Scouts. Upon request, The Troop will reimburse the registration fee to the family of a Scout who successfully completes NYLT or NAYLE as a participant.  Transportation costs for NAYLE are not covered by this policy.
