Please note that camps in Red are no longer open for registration. The cost of each reservation is $207.50 unless otherwise noted. And camps are listed in order of starting date.

1. Hale Scout Reservation (Oklahoma): June 13-20; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $550 total cost. Please sign up by March 15. Leader - Adam Plager (aeplager@qkss.com)
2. Hale Scout Reservation (Oklahoma): June 13-20; Outbound Adventure-camp at base camp, climbing, COPE courses, black powder rifles, overnight camping (Ages 14 by the start of camp) - Approx. $585 total cost. Please sign up by March 15. Leader - Adam Plager (aeplager@qkss.com)
3. Philmont Scout Ranch (New Mexico):June 13-26 - 11 days of backpacking and one of rafting - (finished 8th grade or 14 by first day of camp scouts eligible) - Approx. - $1,600 total cost. Please contact Registration Coordinator  James Cauble at James@Cauble.org. NB: Troop 55 will not have a Philmont excursion in 2016! 4. Big Bend-Boquillas Canyon Canoe Trip: June 14 - June 21, 50-miler trip (Ages 12 ) - Approx. $500 total cost. Please sign up by February 28. Leader - Janice Walden (janice@vandykewalden.com). (10 scout slots open, 4 adult slots already filled)
5. Swiss Alps Village-to-Village Hiking (Kandersteg, Switzerland): June 20-July 4 - 7 days of backpacking, 4 days at international scout camp, and 3 days of sightseeing - (Completed 9th grade by start of trip) - Approx. - $1,800 plus airfare. 6. Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (Fort Worth, TX): June 21-27; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $500 total cost ($400 for adults). Please sign up by March 15. Contact - Rob Rice (rcrice@r3home.net).
7. Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (Fort Worth, TX): June 21-27; Chisholm Trail Adventure - crew of 9 travels by pontoon boat across Lake Bridgeport with morning water sports and afternoons of horseback, shooting, etc. Camping at various edges of the lake. 8. Sea Scout Base Galveston: June 22-27: Sailing and sea kayaking (13 by the start of camp) - Approx. - maximum $700 total cost. Please sign up by February 23. Leader - ?
9. Camp Daniel Boone (Asheville, NC): July 4-12; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $760 total cost. (Camp Daniel Boone will take a maximum of 55 people, 6 adults and 49 scouts given travel is by bus. First come, first served.) Please sign up by March 15. 10. Camp Daniel Boone (Asheville, NC): July 4-12; Zip & Splash Camp: Camp at base camp with daily Zip lines or Rafting. (13 and 100 pounds) - Approx. $985 total cost. (Camp Daniel Boone will take a maximum of 55 people, 6 adults and 49 scouts given travel is by bus. First come, first served.) Please sign up by March 15. Leader - Zig Werlla. 11. Florida Coastal Sailing (Florida): July 4-12; (Ages 14 First Class completed) - Approx. $800 total cost. Please sign up by March 15. Leader - Rob Rice (rcrice@r3home.net) (6 slots - 2 adults/4 scouts; scouts with large boat sailing certifications get priority, then scouts with sailing experience (experiences at Galveston or Florida Sea Base), then scouts with no sailing experience -- There is no deposit required at registration; you will owe a deposit once the crew is selected.)
12. New Mexico Flyfishing: July 11-19 - (14 or completed 7th grade by start of trip) - Approx. $800 total cost ($includes fly rod and reel to keep). Please sign up by March 9. Leader - Mark Parenti (parentilaw@comcast.net)
13. Ireland High Adventure Bike Trek: 12 days in the July 15 - August 5 window, TBD by those interested in going (14 and completed 8th grade by start of trip; no previous biking experience necessary but participants commit to several bike training rides during the spring) - Approx. - $2,400 (~$1,000-1,200 plus air) - Please sign up by February 28.
