Summer Camps for T55!

Note to New Scouts and New Scout Parents: New Scouts are eligible for Merit Badge Camps (1-4)

Mid-Adventure noted in Black (Some camps call their programs "High Adventure" even though we at Troop 55 designate these as Mid-Adventure.)

Camps with crew size restrictions filled first come-first served for scouts.  Adults are not guaranteed spaces.  Adult spaces are a function of crew size and qualifications.
 

1. Camp Yawgoog  (Rockville, RI): June 29 - July 7; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $1,400 total cost. (32 scouts and 8 adults) Please sign up by March 18. Leader - Lauren Burke (laurenburke@me.com) All Spaces Filled - waitlist begun 
2. Camp Emerald Bay (Catalina, CA) June 27 - July 6;  Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $1,100 total cost. Please sign up by April 18. Leader - Angela Enyart (angelasenyart@yahoo.com) 
3. Camp Ben Delatour  (Larimer, CO): July 21-27; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $925 total cost. Please sign up by March 18. (20 Spots only) Leader -   Fred Wilson (fred.wilson@wpartnership.com)
4. Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch, (Fort Davis, TX): June 8-17; Merit Badge Camp (all scouts eligible) - Approx. $700 total cost. Please sign up by March 18. Leader - Mark Lum (mark55@lum.net)
5. Rodney Scout Reservation (Chesapeake Bay, MD) June 29 - July 6;  Advanced Camper Experience (Ages 14 ) - Approx. $1,100 total cost. Please sign up by March 18. Leader - Angela Enyart (angelasenyart@yahoo.com) 
6. Entry Level Backpacking (Idaho/NM): July; (Age 12 by 9/1)  - Approx. $1,150 total cost including airfare. The program is a introductory  backpacking programs for younger Scouts and adults interested in gaining the essential advanced outdoor skills needed to participate and lead the Troop’s progressively challenging high adventure backpacking program.  Please sign up by March 18.
