April Campout at the Widen Ranch near Dripping Springs, Texas

Meet at St. John the Divine on the River Oaks Blvd. side no later than 4:30pm to load buses and depart at 5pm - we wait for no one!.

Camping is the best way to experience the beauty of the Hill Country.  The air is cooler, the scenery is stunning, and you can spend all night gazing at the endless starry sky. Pitch a tent amongst the towering oak and cedar trees, relax and enjoy the views of the majestic rolling hills. At Widen Ranch, Scouts will participate in swimming and wilderness survival and compete in Capture the Flag. Friday:   Pack a sack dinner for the bus ride.

Saturday:  FCT Patrols - Patrol Grubmaster brings patrol’s food for breakfast, lunch and dinner

MS & OS Patrols - Patrol Grubmaster brings patrol’s food for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Philmont Shakedown - the crew will have dinner in the back country with the meal they pack in and prepare on their hiking stove.
